Facilities Helper G Shift (Nights)

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• General cleaning and maintaining of facility, including but not limited to rest rooms, break rooms,
entrances and offices.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping of floors and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators in break room.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dusting and cleaning office furniture that are not cluttered.
• Cleaning windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Operation of floor scrubbing machine to maintain floors, as needed.
• Identify and report possible repairs to supervisor.
• Collection of trash in all areas and maintenance of the trash compactor area.
• Monitor plant and grounds cleanliness and correct or report problem areas.
• Responsible for handling and baling recycled materials, utilizing the bundler.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able
to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative
of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Six months related work experience
• Ability to work independently as needed
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work effectively as a team
• Must be able to follow instructions well

• Forklift experience a plus.
