Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Rockline Industries. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Your primary focus will be on supplying raw materials to production workstations, moving materials from the workstation to the warehouse area, and maintaining proper pallet counts and configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Supply raw materials to production workstations and move materials from the workstation to the warehouse area.
- Maintain proper pallet counts and configurations.
- Assist in setting up re-work areas as needed.
- Communicate with the lead person to ensure specific job requirements are met.
- Document the shift number on each pallet of finished product before removing from the line.
- Stack and stamp boxes to be used in production.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
