Main Function
To oversee administrative functions of Student Ministry; to help minister to and oversee RPS ministry to students and their families
Tasks & Responsibilities
Administrative Oversight - 15 hours
· Budget administrator and planner for RPS
· Oversee the year-long calendar for RPS, having a significant role in yearly Calendaring Retreat
· Have joint oversight with Student Minister on things related to communications and publicity
· Write and send out monthly RPS newsletter
· Serve as logistics champion of RPS
Volunteer Oversight - 10 hours
· Coordinate and appreciate Sunday morning and Wednesday night volunteers
· Coordinate efforts to appreciate volunteers bi-annually
· Oversee processes congruent with volunteer onboarding and maintenance
Intern Oversight - 5 hours
· Work with Student Minister to select summer and year-long interns
· Serve as the SM liaison to the Academy for all things related to SM interns
· Supervise male interns for RPS (meeting regularly for ministry training, tasks, and discipleship)
· Touch base with Girl's Minister periodically to make sure female intern needs are continuing to be met
Other - 10 hours
· Attend all weekly RPS services (going to church at least 1x a month)
· Attend/lead/plan all RPS events and trips as assigned
· Participate in weekly RPS meetings (staff, curriculum, topical, and 1st & 3rd Tuesday)
· Administrative tasks related to this ministry position (email maintenance, process queues, TouchPoint notes, etc.)
· Prepare and teach periodically (as necessary or desired)
· Facilitate/teach a monthly Basics class (as needed)
