Main Function

To minister to the families, students, and volunteers of RockPointe’s Parker Square campus

Tier 1 // 30 hours

Student Tasks and Responsibilities

● Recruit, train, and oversee RockPointe Student (RPS) volunteers for Parker Square campus (small group leaders, check-in, FTV, etc.)

● Engage students, volunteers, and families on a consistent basis

● Follow up with FTV students and their families from Parker Square

● Create an engaging Sunday morning environment for students to feel welcomed

● Teach students during Sunday morning programming

● Oversee all details of Sunday morning programming

● Grow the ministry

Recreation Tasks & Responsibilities:

● Develop a 1-year ministry plan for Rec Ministry which spans all age groups and has a ministry focus at some point in the season

● Upward Basketball: calendar, plan for, recruit, and execute all tasks for the Upward Basketball Program, including the end of year celebration

● Nock Archery: oversee and provide leadership to this program

● Open Gym: make sure open gym is manned with either paid or volunteer leadership

● Seasonal Recreation Events: calendar, plan for, and execute these events

● Maintain the Recreation Ministry budget

● Purchase supplies and equipment as needed for the Parker Square gym

● Put all recreation events into Espace

● Use TouchPoint to create any necessary registration forms for events

● Work with the creative department for any Recreation Ministry publicity

Tier 2 // Weekly 10 hours

● Attend all weekly RPS services

● Attend all RPS events and trips as assigned

● Lead events/trips as assigned

● Participate in weekly RPS meetings

● Assist in planning and executing RPS events and trips

● Lead a Wednesday night group

● Spend time in your personal walk with the Lord daily

● Remain above reproach in personal and ministry interactions

● Be a self-starter

● Remain flexible to meet administrative and student ministry-wide needs

● Humble spirit that thrives in a team setting

Accountability

● The Associate Student Minister will work in a team atmosphere reporting to the Student Minister
