As an Operations Manager for Granite Transformations, your role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing our production, distribution, and overall operational efficiency. Here’s a breakdown of your key responsibilities:
Production Oversight
- Manage Production Operations: Ensure the efficiency of granite cutting, polishing, and finishing processes, maintaining high quality and meeting company standards.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality control procedures to guarantee all products adhere to company and industry specifications.
- Inventory Oversight: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Visit job sites: to ensure installations are done correctly to ensure customer satisfaction with zero complaints. Help finish jobs if needed at customer's homes to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Perform Template Measurements: for countertops and cabinet refacing
Team Leadership
- Staff Supervision: Lead the production team by managing hiring, training, and performance reviews.
- Schedule Management: Create and manage work schedules to meet production deadlines and optimize staff utilization.
- Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring adherence to local and federal regulations.
Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination
- Supplier Relations: Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of granite slabs and other necessary materials.
- Distribution Management: Oversee the logistics of delivering finished products, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control costs related to shipping, materials, and production to maximize profitability.
Customer Relations
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and order-related communication, addressing any issues promptly.
- Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met and that the final product aligns with their expectations.
Process Improvement
- Enhance Efficiency: Continuously evaluate production processes to identify and implement improvements that boost efficiency and minimize waste.
