RN Supervisor / Wound Nurse
Rockville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is searching for a Wound Nurse / RN Supervisor to join our team.
RN Supervisor / Wound Nurse Duties Include:
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
- Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurse on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
- Responsible for oversight of the facility and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain nursing guidelines are appropriate.
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing support to residents, families, and employees.
- Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods.
- Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy.
- Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents.
RN Supervisor / Wound Nurse Requirements/Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN (Registered Nurse) license
- Active CPR Certificate
- Point Click a Plus
- Wound care certification desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in LTC is preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and a team player
Salary Range: Up to $125,000
