Job Title: Child and Adolescent Residential Program Manager

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child and Adolescent Residential Program Manager to lead our residential program focused on supporting children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges. This role involves establishing and overseeing the implementation of the Person-Centered Plan (PCP) while providing comprehensive case management to ensure the well-being and development of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Development and Management:
• Develop, implement, and manage residential programming that aligns with organizational goals and best practices in child and adolescent care.
• Establish and oversee the implementation of the Person-Centered Plan (PCP) for each resident, ensuring it reflects their individual needs, strengths, and goals.
• Case Management Oversight:
• Provide case management services, coordinating care and support for residents, including medical, educational, and therapeutic needs.
• Ensure that all case management activities are documented accurately and reflect the progress and changes in residents’ needs.
• Staff Management and Development:
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate direct care staff and other program personnel.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, providing staff with the training necessary to effectively implement the PCP and case management strategies.
• Clinical Coordination:
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality therapeutic interventions and support services are delivered consistently.
• Monitor the implementation of individualized treatment plans and make adjustments based on resident progress and feedback.
• Crisis Management:
• Develop and implement crisis intervention protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
• Lead the response to emergencies and critical incidents, providing support to staff and residents as needed.
• Family and Community Engagement:
• Build positive relationships with families, involving them in the treatment process and encouraging their participation in program activities.
• Collaborate with community resources and stakeholders to enhance program offerings and support services.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident progress, staff performance, and program outcomes.
• Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies, analyzing data to inform program improvements.
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field; relevant licensure preferred (e.g., LCSW, LPC).
• Minimum of TWO years of experience in a leadership role within a residential or therapeutic setting for children and adolescents.
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and best practices in residential care.
• Experience in case management and developing Person-Centered Plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and families.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
