Job Summary
Rockwood South Hill is seeking a dedicated, dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that all dietary needs are met, and Health Center areas are well stocked with food, beverages and other supplies at all times, while maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This role is essential in providing quality nutrition to our residents and patients.
Job Shift: Part-Time
Pay Range: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Stock food, beverages and supplies in the Health Center areas
- Receive and organize delivery orders
- Clean kitchen equipment
- Check expiration dates on food items
- Retrieve dish carts from the Health Center after meals
- Provide customer service to residents
Required Skills and Experience:
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Washington food handler card
- M.A.S.T. permit
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
- Organized and detail oriented
- Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds
- Positive and friendly attitude
