Recruiting for 25-26 school year. Position start date July 29, 2025.
(9th-12th grade; capable of teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Math for College Readiness, and prefer Calculus) Full-time, 10-month position, pay adjusted based on experience and degrees.
Job Description: The teacher will help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God. Teach all subjects assigned in the designated grade, adhering to the course instruction as prescribed in the Curriculum Guide. Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities. Employ a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will provide or creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional.
Required Personal Qualities: Must be member at a local church which has fundamental beliefs in agreement with historic Christian orthodoxy. Must be in whole-hearted agreement with the schools Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education. Must demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.
Job Requirements: Must possess minimum of Bachelors degree in Math Education, or related field, or have Bachelors degree with 18-semester credit hours in specialty. Must complete the Philosophy of Christian Education requirement, according to RBCS requirements. Must have children enrolled in Christian education.
Must demonstrate proficiency in the computer programs used in the classroom. Needs working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Database software. Must have ability to use technology in lesson plans- such as projectors, iPads, and online videos.
