Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Pick and unload inventory off racks, pallets, skids, conveyers and or lifting devices.
- Use the warehouse management systems to locate, scan, and pull inventory.
- Document put-away and task information to assure proper tracking and inventory information is completed.
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Less than high school education; or up to one (1) month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Beginner level of skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business manuals and instructions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet goals and deadlines.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.)
- Ability to multitask and cross train
