Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant part-time to join our team in Blackfoot, Idaho. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in office software applications, and be a team player. In addition to providing general administrative support, this role will involve assisting in various aspects of billing, record-keeping, and logistics coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Assist in timely and accurate billing to customers by importing scale tickets
- Ensure accuracy of records, products, customers, etc. in Agvance (our ERP system).
- Assist in passing along blending and delivery ticket information to yard managers as necessary.
- Aid with organizing and filing supporting documents.
- Research previous blends and similar information for salesmen and provide order writing assistance as needed.
- Assist with field entry in Agvance and fleet management software, ensuring accuracy of field information (acres, location, etc.).
- Assist with scaling, gathering information on water-run deliveries, spray applications, etc.
- Assist with gathering receipts, employee documents, answering office phone calls, and other general administrative duties.
- Other tasks as assigned by yard manager or CFO.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using computers, and accounting and office software
- Knowledge of billing processes and record-keeping practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sit, stand, walk for up to 4-hours at a time over an 8 hour workday
- Bend, twist, lift; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Typical visual and auditory capabilities (with or without medically prescribed corrections)
Compensation:
This is an part time hourly position with competitive pay commensurate with experience.
Benefits:
This part-time postion is not eleigible for benefits.
Schedule:
This is a part time position with potential to go full time. Current schedule is 4 days a week, 8 AM to 5 PM through the busy season (spring and summer). Fall and winter it will likely be 16 hours a week (roughly 2 days), and can be flexible on how those hours/days are scheduled.
