Sales - Home Planning Specialist

Job Purpose
The Home Planning Specialist actively calls, qualifies all incoming leads, and manages a robust pipeline of prospective clients/families with the goal of selling custom modular homes. The HPS is also responsible for leading, managing and executing each new home building from design to construction, completing all applicable paperwork related to the home design process and subsequent stages leading up to the setting of the home. This is a commission based role with a potential earnings of $200K .

Duties and Responsibilities

• Make daily phone calls to build sales pipelines
• Respond to leads quickly and convert leads into appointments
• Deliver company sales presentation at every prospect meeting
• Give model home tours and educate prospects on modular construction process
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective buyers and existing clients
• Qualify prospective buyers to determine likelihood of designing/building
• Assist clients in providing resources such as banking, engineers, surveyors, contractors, etc.
• Create urgency with prospects and consistently follow up with each prospect
• Manage all aspects of the design process
• Travel to prospective clients’ property and conduct a detailed site evaluation
• Deliver project estimates that ensure conversion
• Maintain working knowledge of company plans, processes and options
• Provide weekly sales figures and adhere to all deadlines
• Prepare for weekly sales meeting to discuss activities and collaborate/learn with/from team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• 3 years’ sales experience preferably in construction industry and commission-based role
• Highly motivated, self-driven and results oriented
• Strong closer and overcomer of objectives
• Priority setting and effective time management
• Strong relationship management with clear expectations and accountability
• Ability to navigate challenges and deal with ambiguity
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to sales/design processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate on all windows-based programs
• Basic knowledge of design programs such as Chief Architect, Sketch up etc. is a plus but not necessary
• Valid Drivers License

Working conditions

Home Planning Specialist will be required to travel to various locations within Colorado to perform site visits.

Physical requirements

Home Planning Specialist are required to evaluate properties that feature difficult terrain in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
