What will you do as a Logistics Manager?

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Logistics team to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role will focus on optimizing operational processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring clear communication across the company regarding logistics-related activities. The Logistics Manager will take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with other departments to ensure that the dispatch function contributes to the overall success of the business.

Objectives for this role:

• • Oversee Logistics Coordinators to ensure the team is meeting the Company’s objectives.
  • Communicate unilaterally through the Company on behalf of Logistics.
  • Uphold the Company’s carrier and driver safety standards to ensure safe last-mile logistics operations.
  • Identify processes or technology that will improve visualization and/or efficiency within Logistics
  • Assist Supply Chain with carrier lifecycle.

Responsibilities for this role:

• • Oversee Logistics Coordinators to ensure they are meeting Company objectives through training, hiring, and performance management.
  • Assist Logistics Coordinators with the enforcement of the Company’s carrier and driver safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Lobo Management to provide dispatch reports and communication as requested.
  • Identify and improve processes to provide more visibility and efficiency in Logistics for company-wide use.
  • Assist with the reporting and investigation of carrier incidents and accidents.
  • Perform various audits to ensure our carriers and assets are compliant.
  • Work with Business Development and Supply Chain to execute new job launches.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Are you a good fit for the WolfPack?

Experience

• 3 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain management, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing teams and overseeing operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Hands-on experience with dispatch systems, transportation management software (TMS), and/or logistics technology platforms
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in hiring, training, and developing teams.
• Expertise in process optimization, with a focus on improving efficiency, visibility, and overall logistics operations.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to carriers, fleet management, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and the use of logistics performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving issues that impact operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and logistics software; familiarity with ERP or TMS systems is preferred.
• Experience in Oil and Gas is a plus but not required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)

Compensation:

• This position offers an attractive compensation package consisting of a salary of 80,000-100,000 per year with additional bonus opportunities.
