Service Advisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their automotive service experience. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs.

Duties

• Greet customers and assess their service needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide detailed explanations of services required, including tire service, alignments, and diesel engine repairs.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and timely repairs.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles throughout the service process.
• Prepare estimates for services needed, including suspension work, transmission repairs, and air brake systems.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and services performed in the system.
• Stay updated on automotive technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive environment.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair processes is essential.
• Familiarity with tire services, alignments, diesel engine repair, suspension systems, transmission work, and air brake systems is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are a plus.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences and fostering long-term relationships with clients.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
