What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Designer Co-Op Summer 2025 position at RODE Architects?

We share a passion to lead Boston’s neighborhoods into the future by combining exploratory design and contextual architectural solutions. The firm is seeking a full-time Architectural Design Co-op to join the team in the design of institutional, commercial, residential, and multi-family buildings from design through construction.
Candidates must be working towards their Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree and preferably had at least one previous professional co-op/internship. Candidates should also have experience the following skill set:
- Working knowledge of Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience building physical models
- Strong design, rendering, and graphic illustration skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas to the team
- Embraces the challenge of juggling multiple tasks at a fast-paced firm
- Be highly motivated, creative, curious, organized, and likes to ask questions
- Ability to self-manage tasks and priorities to meet deadlines
