The Big Task
Diagnose and repair electrical systems and lead customers to informed, and confident buying decisions.
Key Sub Tasks
- Complete any electrical residential service calls
- Establish customer rapport to instill confidence in team and sell the right products and services
- Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans
- Ability to exceed minimum KPI goal
- Successfully complete follow up calls
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations
- Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck
- Competent in the use of all tools and resources related to basic service calls
- Knowledge of Electrical codes and proper safety standards
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers
- Ability to take timely action to solve problems using established policies and procedures
- Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety, rules, and procedures
- Hold at least one state license or certification
- Engaged in further technical development (i.e. Different disciplines and cross-training)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to take direction and/or technical instruction
