Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at a luxurious resort. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless stay for our visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and possess excellent communication skills in multiple languages.
Duties:
- Greet and check-in guests in a welcoming manner, providing them with all necessary information and amenities.
- Manage and maintain the front desk operations, including handling guest requests, answering phone calls, and performing night audits.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as maintain accurate records of guest payments and accounts.
- Provide personalized assistance to guests, including recommending local attractions and making reservations.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the front desk area.
- Assist in resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during a guest's stay.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the resort.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong background in hospitality management and customer service.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, including bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift light objects.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
