We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems as needed.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to analyze electrical circuits and troubleshoot issues.
- Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity and functionality.
- Collaborate with field service teams to address maintenance needs in various locations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the training of new staff on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in technical sales is a plus, enabling effective communication with vendors and suppliers.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to analyze problems critically and implement effective solutions.
- Experience in welding techniques for repairs and modifications.
- Understanding of militarised standards for equipment maintenance is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
