This position is in support of the CFO role and involves responsibilities in multiple areas of the accounting process including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, sales commissions, general ledger entry, reconciliation, and monthly and annual reporting.
Applicant needs to be able to make routine choices within established procedures and perform basic troubleshooting to reconcile account balances.
The position involves the use of accounting software packages and spreadsheets to enter, compile, or extract data. Work is relatively independent, with supervision available to address non-routine questions.
Requirements
- 2 years of accounting training
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Accounting knowledge equivalent to a 2-year degree level
- Strong Excel skills
- Proficiency with computer and technology
- Strong organizational skills
