What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Fusion Cloud Administrator position at Roeslein & Associates?
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Oracle Fusion Cloud Administrator will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting all technical aspects of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. Responsibilities include Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP instance management, technical configurations, security role management, and all workflow, integration, and customizations. In addition, the Administrator will provide technical guidance to team members in managing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and will work with the implementation partners and business teams to help with implementation, ensuring that project deliverables are aligned with desired business processes and IT standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as Oracle Financial Cloud applications SME, providing best practice guidance on process and implementation approaches for all functional areas.
- Manage Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP application metadata, including provisioning configurations, enterprise applications, domains, and application components such as environment types, module types, and middleware components.
- Orchestrate the Oracle Cloud ERP release and other patch deployments, as well as instance (Dev, Test, and Prod environments) management.
- Manage user security roles and workflows set within Oracle Fusion Cloud Security. Design and create custom roles to ensure proper user access. Conduct regular security audits to identify and fix vulnerabilities.
- Work with Oracle to perform System / Service Maintenance Tasks, Backup, and Recovery of Oracle Fusion Applications.
- Monitor Oracle Fusion Cloud application's performance and architecture to ensure the system's reliability, integrity, and recoverability.
- Work with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
- Design and implement best practices to administer and improve the functionality, reliability, and security of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Partner with internal IT teams such as Security, Network and Service Desk teams, and external vendor teams to proactively monitor, identify issues, and drive them to resolution.
- Document system requirements and process flows.
- Assist / mentor technical team members in managing Oracle Fusion Cloud instance configurations and enterprise applications.
- Implement new system integrations and / or update existing integrations as per changes to the business requirements.
- Develop necessary integrations, customizations, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) programs.
- Work closely with business areas to troubleshoot production issues and identify and recommend solutions.
- Log SRs and work with Oracle support as needed, developing new code or modifying existing code as necessary.
- Assist in the International Deployment of the ERP system.
- Review the Oracle release documents to identify any upcoming changes that may impact current integrations, such as file layout, new or renamed fields, and field size changes.
- Develop technical documentation and requirements for integration partners to be used in the retrofit of their existing code.
- Develop solution scope and make implementation recommendations.
- Track, log, and update issues in issue tracking and ticketing systems (JIRA) to analyze problems and provide appropriate resolutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work is performed in an office and uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
