What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Roessel Joy?
Roessel Joy is working with a client that is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant. In this seat, you will be answering phones, filing, emailing/mailing daily invoices and monthly estimates, and it is preferred that they have customer service experience. The ideal candidate has previous work experience, is savvy, and has the desire to grow within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record manual payments and reconcile direct payments
- Data entry, pulling reports, preparing statements, account research
- Office functions including but not limited to answering phone, respond to emails, scanning & mailing checks
- Assist with coding all invoices with appropriate expense
- Complete a wide range of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Detail-oriented and thorough regarding one's work output
- Knowledge of accounting principles and guidelines
- Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook with a strong background administrative work
- A self-starter capable of working independently
