About the Job:

Roger Langeliers Construction Co. is looking for a dedicated, skilled Concrete Laborer to be a key part of our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with experience in concrete preparation and mixing. You’ll be responsible for various tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Qualifications:

· 1-3 years of experience in concrete work or general construction is preferred.

· Valid driver’s license and/or CDL A driver’s license is a plus!

· Ability to mix, pour, spread, and smooth concrete.

·

· Effective communication with team members, supervisors, and clients to understand project requirements and coordinate tasks accordingly.

· Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, trowels) and power tools (vibrators, saws, etc.).

· Ability to work flexible shifts including day, nights, and weekends.

· Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to different project environments.

· Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of the job.

· Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

· Skilled in smoothing, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

· Understanding of curing methods and the impact of weather conditions on concrete setting.

· Familiarity with power trowels, straightedges, screeds, and other finishing tools.

· Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA safety regulations and practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
