What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher: Medical Professions/Sports Medicine position at Rogers High School?
Classroom instruction; other duties as assigned.
Meet state licensing requirements (must have an Arkansas Teaching Certificate with Medical Professions 611 and Sports Medicine 625 listed on certificate). The requirement to teach the Sports Medicine courses is Technical Permit 625 and requires one of the following:
- Certified Athletic Trainer
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology/Science or related Human Performance degree
- Kinesiologist
- Physical Therapist
- Physical Therapy Assistant
Medical related work experience
- Applicants with a Bachelor's, Masters, Doctorate degree must have two years of medical related work experience
- Applicants with a Certificate must have four years of medical related work experience in the certification area.
192 day contract.
Split between Rogers HS and New Tech HS.
Start Date: August 2025
Salary : $53,250 - $82,605
