**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Loan Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is a vital part of our organization, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the loan origination process, including reviewing loan applications, conducting credit analysis, and verifying borrower information.
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and FNMA guidelines.
- Perform loan processing duties, including loan documents and closing procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers, ensuring timely communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Utilize 10-key typing to accurately and efficiently input data into our systems.
- Conduct thorough math calculations to accurately determine loan payments and interest rates.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring our organization remains compliant with TILA and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of loan transactions and borrower interactions.
- Collaborate with other members of the loan team to ensure efficient and effective loan processing.
-Complete all title work for equipment sold.
-Enter inventory of equipment whem received
-Answer telephones
-Input warranty information when equipment is sold
**Requirements:**
- Strong background in mortgage servicing and/or loan origination.
- Proficiency in credit analysis and underwriting.
- Experience with loan processing and document preparation.
- Familiarity with TILA and FNMA regulations, as well as Fair Housing regulations.
- 10-key typing skills and basic math proficiency.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
