Role
:

As an Indirect Lending Quality Control Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of new loan documentation. You will drive the integrity of the loan process by verifying adherence to underwriting conditions, regulatory requirements, and Rogue Credit Union policies. Your role will involve providing detailed, actionable reports to management, contributing to effective file maintenance, and supporting Indirect Relationship Specialists through data analysis and reporting. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing departmental dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational outcomes. Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and credit union lending guidelines will be crucial in maintaining compliance and optimizing loan processing.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities
:

50% Consistently analyzes recent loans funded while reviewing a variety of loan quality control reports. Proactively prepares loan findings and communicates to management any significant discoveries


20% Assures members are being provided with exceptional experiences and that their needs are being promptly met. Works with staff to identify and propose process improvement/efficiencies to yield a higher return on member loyalty and credit union resources. Personally works to develop member rapport and handles escalated member issues or concerns.


10% Proactively maintains current knowledge on lending guidelines, procedures, regulations, and other related changes. Communicates and trains lending staff on lending-related changes. Analyzes reports and processes for efficiency and accuracy. Identifies improvements in lending processes that leverage technology and automation. Makes recommendations to management on how to make improvements


10% Supports and assists with the other advanced functions and projects of the Indirect Lending Department, which includes but is not limited to title processing, branch lending support, indirect funding.


10% Takes an active role in assisting the credit union achieve its strategic goals. Provides leadership to assigned staff and may serve on a goal or project team. Represent Rogue Credit Union in community involvement activities and encourages staff to do the same.


10% Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.


Knowledge & Skills
:

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience. Experience working for a financial institution a plus. Previous experience working with cards or payments products and services is essential.


Education
: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).


Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.


Other Skills: Lending support experience, including some underwriting skills for auditing purposes. Strong member service. Good time management/organizational skills. Proven team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to share findings and speak in front of groups, good eye for detail and quality. Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook and other relevant software.


Physical Requirements: Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.


Work Environment
: This job is an exempt position that requires flexibility in scheduling tasks and projects. The employee must independently monitor hours and judge the time needed to be spent on applicable duties. Employee must be capable of adjusting to unpredictable schedules proactively. As a direct representative of the Credit Union, the employee must conduct and present themselves courteously and professionally. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. Travel to all Credit Union regions may be required.
