What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supplier Quality Engineering and Inspection Specialist position at Vendor Control Service, Inc.?
A Quality Control Inspector, (Must be willing to travel), The candidate must be flexible to accommodate shifting priorities and be able to work well with supplier representatives and have good communication skills. He/she must have at least 10 years of quality assurance experience, which includes:
- Electro Mechanical inspector
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, geometric tolerances, schematics and processes,
- Ability to verify that a Suppliers ATP meets the requirements of the customer's specifications,
- Able to evaluate and perform First Article Inspections (AS9102),
- Qualification test witness,
- IPC-610 current certified (or past certificate)
- IPC-A-600 training/certified (or past certificate)
Requirements:
Must have experience with IPC-610 /IPC-600 inspection standards. Quality Control Inspector Candidate should have experience with test operations and electronic components. Ability to use magnifying instruments Read and understand electrical drawings Ability to write reports Ability to witness test and understand electrical test data This is a 1099 independent contract position only, part time/as needed Pay based on experience. Travel time and mileage. Pays portal to portal. The ideal candidate will have 10 years experience at test and inspection in a manufacturing or production environment. Candidate should have experience in quality and source inspection and inspection tooling. Computer/laptop required not supplied. Cell phone required not supplied. Candidate must be with-in 50 miles of customer location to be considered.
