Job Description : Overview
The IT Operations Intern supports our users in-person and remotely to reset passwords, move computers and printers, help remote users with VPN and email support, etc.
Internship Start Date : May 12, 2025
You will be trained on the Operations floor, working alongside team members in our manufacturing, distribution and customer service teams in order to see first-hand the scope of our organization.
After your training, you will join the IT department and be assigned a Supervisor and Mentor. Your Supervisor will direct your day to day activities while your Mentor will be your key contact for non-daily activities and overall guidance. You will be exposed to multiple projects and be issued daily tasks to complete towards those projects.
Internship End Date : August 1, 2025
We will conduct an Exit Interview and get final feedback from Interns on the program.
The IT Operations Intern is a full time (5 days a week) onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Assist with regulatory reviews (PCI 4.0 and GDPR)
- Assist with the writing and review of IT Policies and Procedures
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on hardware systems
- Provides direction to users to resolve technological issues
- Determine computer problems and coordinates hardware, software, and / or network solutions
- Communicates technical guidance and instruction to users on the use of PC and / or cloud applications and systems
- Analyzes and resolves basic computer and security problems
