The preferred work location for this position is Columbia, MD.

The total compensation for this position is $60K-$90K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.

Your tasks
- Provide administrative assistance to the Chief Engineer, including travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
- Assist with people management tasks, such as timekeeping, onboarding processes and data management (e.g., org charts, contact lists).
- Coordinate project-related activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking action items and maintaining project documentation and records.
- Facilitate communication between the Chief Engineer, engineering team members, and other stakeholders, including drafting and sending reports, and ensuring timely and effective information sharing.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall team performance.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management tasks, such as tracking expenses, managing purchase orders and coordinating with finance teams.
- Lead or support special projects, including developing and implementing new processes or tools and conducting research or analysis to inform technical decisions.
- Work closely with teams based in Europe and North America.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and other productivity software.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies .
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
- In order to be considered, external candidates must be a US person capable of receiving a U.S. Government public trust clearance.
