What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intern- Software Engineering, Hillsboro, OR position at Rohde & Schwarz?
Our group is part of a global R&D team of digital Rohde & Schwarz Oscilloscopes. We are specialized in the development of wired protocol analyzer software apps, such as USB3, DDR, PCIe and many more. The intern will work closely together with the R&D engineers, supporting them in the development of signals specifically for the DDR5 standard used for high-speed memory access in PCs.
Your tasks
- Learn specifics of the DDR5 standard
- Enhance our synthetic signal generation library by adding a DDR5 protocol encoder
- Design new and challenging DDR5 signal content to help R&D engineers exercise the decoder
- Help improve the quality of our software products
- Expand your knowledge of Python and Matlab with real world development

This is an hourly position, paying $22-$27 / hour, minimum of 30 hours per week.
