ROI Hospitality is looking for an experienced, energetic, positive, and tenacious General Manager to lead the operation of our 133 room Grand Gateway Hotel located in Rapid City, SD. The Grand Gateway Hotel is a full service hotel that features Cheers Sports Lounge & Casino and meeting and special event space for up to 400 people.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hire, Train, and direct all managers and hourly staff.
- In charge of hiring and training personnel.
- Maximize revenue by monitoring ADR & occupancy compared to budget.
- Exhibit unmatched customer service skills and a positive attitude with team and customers.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs with department managers.
- Meet all sales clients on the property including meeting contacts and potential clients touring the property to assist in the sales effort.
- Be in the public areas during peak times greeting guests and helping as needed.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings.
- Adherence to budgets, monthly forecasting, and inventories.
- Review and process invoices.
- Manage guest complaints at the hotel though hotel review sites (Medallia)
Front Desk
- Manage front desk staff schedules.
- Assist Front Office Management with the supervision of the Front Desk and ensure it is run in a professional manner in accordance with the management company and hotel policies.
- Assist the front desk staff during busy periods and staff shortages.
Food & Beverage - Cheers Sports Lounge & Casino
- Work with restaurant manager and ensure our guest experience excellent service and food and beverage.
- Maintain food and beverage cost control processes and procedures
- Adhere to and maintain all health department rules and regulations.
- Perform regular inventories.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years full service hotel management experience
- Minimum 3 years food and beverage experience
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and consistently.
- Experience working with budgets, payroll, revenue management, and forecasting.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
