How will you make an impact?
As a Paid Search Team Lead, you’ll oversee a team of Paid Search Analysts and use your PPC/SEM and digital marketing expertise to help guide your team to execute strategic work for clients. Your leadership will provide learning and development opportunities for the Paid Search Analysts on your team as you coach them to provide excellent service to our clients.
Our Paid Search Team Leads focus on three main areas: cultivating an inclusive team environment, providing learning and development opportunities for direct reports, and driving paid media strategy across client accounts to help their team members reach and exceed client goals. Our paid search teams have expertise in search, shopping, video, display, and retargeting across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.

What will you do?
- Coach, support, and develop your team members to drive strong performance while fostering an environment of inclusion and belonging.
- Provide proactive strategic and tactical guidance with clients and your team, leveraging your expertise in paid search (PPC/SEM).
- Oversee the strategic processes of your team (including wide-scale use of technologies and strategies) and the quality of your team’s service (including client visits, on-boarding process, client feedback/communication, tactical optimizations, etc.).
- Shadow and regularly review your team members’ client calls to provide team members with positive and critical feedback to ensure that we’re always improving.
- Step in on complex/urgent client issues, managing paid search campaigns when needed.
- Meet with direct reports regularly using our Performance Management tools to ensure reports have the opportunity to improve and develop professionally.
- Collaborate with sales to take on new clients and participate in client audits as needed.
- Collaborate with senior management and HR as needed.
- Facilitate teaching and training team on new developments, techniques and best practices; ensure team-wide compliance when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the learning and development team to onboard new employees.
- Oversee training and onboarding of new paid search analysts and provide training opportunities to experienced analysts.
- Prepare, organize and present content to effectively lead compelling team meetings.
- Serve as an Executive Lead on key client accounts, overseeing the quality of our cross-channel product, coaching the integrated team, adding value for clients, and monitoring profitability.
- Attend leadership training meetings and use takeaways to implement positive changes within your team.
- Ensure all direct reports are aligned with company goals, vision, culture and core values.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Paid Media.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications are listed below; however, stronger skillsets and experience are welcome and rewarded at ROI!
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years of professional experience in paid advertising with at least 2 year managing paid search (PPC/SEM) campaigns
- At least 1 year of people management experience
