Roland Machinery Company is a family owned company established in 1958. Roland Machinery is one of the Mid-West’s leading heavy equipment dealers representing more than twenty-five outstanding manufacturers of construction, municipal, industrial and forestry equipment; expanding across 5 states and 17 locations.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support Salesmen
- CRM – Ability to work and direct salesmen in working with a call reporting system. Would be able to help with maintaining system information and ability to answer general questions about the basic function of entering call reports and quotes.
- Generate quotes as requested for machinery and attachments
- Work with manufacturers on pricing and support
- Apply for SPARs in the Komatsu system
- Direct service department and provide budgeted allowance for upfit of equipment
- Prepare Sales worksheets with accuracy and submit final worksheet with division manager’s approval
- Work with vendors to obtain required quotes and negotiate final pricing.
- Code and Process invoices for payment
- Shipping – Work with customer for on time delivery of equipment to a job or shop. Work with various trucking companies and other division rental coordinators for shipping of equipment between branches.
- Quote warranty to salesmen
- Update sales report
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize job duties
- High degree of emotional maturity
- Flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills. Microsoft Office a must.
