GENERAL SUMMARY:
Roland Park Country School, a K-12 independent girls' school, seeks a FULL TIME Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs to begin July 1, 2025 The individual in this position reports directly to Director of Auxiliary Programs and will work in collaboration and partnership with the Auxiliary Programs department, that coordinates the after school, summer, and rental programs for the school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the Lower School Extended Day and After-School Enrichment Programs
- Assist with managing the enrollment and billing of the extended day program
- Serve as a point of contact for enrichment providers and parents during after school hours
- Serve as the Assistant Director of Summer Camps during the summer months
- Oversee and run childcare on Lower School Professional Development and Conference Days
- Manage Extended Day staff, including scheduling, training, and job expectations
- Maintain OCC compliance of the Extended Day Program
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Experience communicating effectively with parents
- Management experience
- Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities in a childcare setting
- Ability to create and implement school-age activities
- Ability to appropriately supervise up to 15 children independently
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree
- School Age Certification or willing to receive certification prior to first day of work
- More than 3 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Remain in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Repeat motion of wrists, hands, and fingers to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone.
- Requires visual acuity to read a variety of written materials.
- Physical agility: stand, kneel, walk, run, push/pull, squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, reach overhead, crouch, and respond to emergencies.
- Must be able to move around and access all parts of the campus upon request, which includes gym, turf, fields, dining hall, etc.
- Occasionally ascend and descend stairs in emergency situations.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
WORK CONDITIONS:
- The Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs is a full-time, exempt 12 month position.
- The individual in this position is expected to work during all hours as may be assigned by the School and during other hours for events and activities.
- The Assistant Director of Auxiliary Programs is expected to perform their job duties on campus, unless otherwise permitted by the Head of School.
COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE: In accordance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are committed to providing transparent wage information for all posted job opportunities. The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on factors such as Experience, Qualifications, and Internal equity.
