POSITION SUMMARY Safely drives a company vehicle to job sites to deliver, pick-up, or service portable toilets and maintain them according to company standards. Collect delivery instructions, verifying instructions and routes. Maintain logs of working hours (Hours of Service via Samsara) or of vehicle service or repair status (DVIRs via Samsara), following applicable state and federal regulations. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles to your supervisor. Safely secure cargo for transport. Safely drive company trucks. Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required. Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions. Operate equipment, such as truck devices, and / or telephones, to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or venders. Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes. Safely load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary. Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Follow all DOT regulations. Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Pumping portable restroom waste using a vacuum pump truck. Pressure washing restroom interior and exterior surfaces. Cleaning all fixtures and restocking toilet paper, urinal blocks, and hand towels. Moving portable restrooms on site, pickup / delivery to and from job sites. Handling, moving, and troubleshooting blockages in 50’ suction hoses. Properly disposing of waste. Complete required paperwork, turning it in daily. Assist as necessary in the repair and assembly of portable toilets. Additional duties as assigned . Qualifications : Must be at least 24 years of age and able to maintain insurability with Company insurance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Valid DOT medical card Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to find root cause for equipment failures Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneeling Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his / her actions #INDROLP Powered by JazzHR
