Job duties
- Determine trailer condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Correct trailer deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems
- Maintain records by annotating services and repairs.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Enhance maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
- Use a variety of welding equipment and procedures/fabricate any necessary trailer assembly
- Determine the appropriate welding method, based on requirements
- Take and read measurements to plan the layout and procedures of many different types of projects
- Assess the process or actions needed for the job
- Work with coworkers to complete the project in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area
- Display familiarity with crossovers, tanks, and stairs
- Practice safe usage of cutting torches, plasma cutters, and grinding equipment
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Able to rebuild Blackmer, TCS, Titan Logix
Must have 2 years Fabrication experience - Minimum of 5 years' experience
- Have own tools
- Safe driving history preferred
- Pass a drug test
- Fluent in English
Salary : $30 - $35
