Our Columbia Campus Technical Director position might be right for you. We need someone who understands AV and event programming in large venues and small meeting rooms but is also confident recruiting and training teams of committed volunteers to plug in and serve in those areas. We want someone who loves Jesus and the church and can be an exciting, hard-working, and part of our growing campus team.

OBJECTIVE

To work under the direction of the Columbia Worship Leader and in coordination with the Worship Arts Ministry in carrying out the five functions of the New Testament Church : worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and ministry. Essentially, the Columbia Campus Technical Directors responsibility is to provide leadership for all technical areas of worship primarily on Sunday mornings, but also at campus events.

EXPECTATIONS

Live an exemplary life modeling the call, character, and competencies of a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Be a servant leader to his / her staff and teams of volunteers, the families and the overall church body.
Grow personally in his / her own leadership and ministerial abilities by reading and having godly and professional mentors in his / her life.
Be involved in the overall life of the church body by being a partner / member, actively participating in a community group, church-wide events, and functions.
Be an excited and contributing member of the RHCC staff team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and direct all audio and visual elements on Sunday mornings at RHCC Columbia.

Recruit, develop and coach volunteer teams to execute all technical elements of worship ministry.

Be responsible for directing the set-up of Sunday mornings at RHCC Columbia.

Assist with weekly production meetings with the worship team and tech staff on Sunday mornings.

Address areas of tech support and media repair for all large and small group gathering spaces at the Columbia campus including, but not limited to, the auditorium, family ministry environments, and meeting rooms.

General assistance with campus needs.

Participate in the weekly Columbia campus staff meeting.

Participate in central tech meetings and training as scheduled by the Central Technical Director.

Other duties as assigned by Campus Pastor and / or Campus Worship Leader.

Work directly with Columbia Worship Arts Leader to plan and create worship moments and environments.

Provide technical support to RHCC Columbia events or activities.

Provide technical assistance for central events and ministries as agreed upon by the Columbia Campus Leader and Central Technical Director.
