JOB SUMMARY: The seasonal Pool Cashier is responsible for payment collection and admittance into the pool. This is an at-will position. Primary duties include:

Collect payment from facility guests and issue correct change.

Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.

Recognize all accepted forms of discounts and proof of residency.

Inform and enforce the pool rules and regulations pertaining to the facility.

Answer telephone calls and guest questions and concerns.

Monitor activity in area when needed.

Demonstrate and promote positive guest relations and exceptional customer service.

Adhere to the general rules and policies of the Rolling Meadows Park District.

Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 16 years of age with exceptional inter-personal and customer service skills. Money handling experience strongly preferred. Candidate must be dependable and able to possess good judgment in difficult and emergency situations. CPR/ AED/ First Aid certification is preferred.
SCHEDULE & PAY: Seasonal schedule from first week in June through Labor Day. Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts available, up to 20 hours per week. Holiday hours may be required. Full pay range for this position is $15-$18 hourly, depending upon qualifications. Plus applicable facility and program discounts.
