Role Description
The Social Media Coordinator will drive Rolling Out's digital presence by creating compelling content that resonates with our urban multicultural audience. This role is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that authentically capture Black culture while driving engagement and brand growth across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage daily content across all social media channels
- Repurpose show and article content from RollingOut.com into engaging social posts
- Design eye-catching graphics and write compelling captions that align with our brand voice
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to maximize audience engagement
- Track and analyze social metrics, engagement rates, and overall performance
- Write articles for RollingOut.com that reflect current cultural conversations
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging
- Respond to comments and messages to build community relationships
- Execute digital marketing campaigns to promote brand initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media content creation and social media marketing
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Experience in digital marketing
- Understanding of social media trends and analytics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus
