As a vital part of our leadership, the People Services Director (PSD) will drive impactful HR initiatives that directly support our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic People Services Director to partner closely with executive and leadership teams to define, develop, and implement strategic People Services (Human Resources) initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing a small HR team while directly contributing to daily operations and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all People Services functions, including:
- Employee Relations
- Compensation Management
- Performance Management
- Training and Leadership Development
Collaborate with Lifepoint Division People Services and hospital CEO to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Support centralized HR functions administered through Lifepoint Business Services (effective October 2025), including:
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Benefits Administration
- Performance Reviews & Employee Transactions via Oracle system
Serve as a trusted partner and resource to leadership, employees, and physicians, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local HR regulations.
What Were Looking For
Bachelor of Science degree (Required)
5 years of human resources experience in a healthcare (hospital) setting
Strong working knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including Title VII, Affirmative Action, ADA, FMLA
Proven ability to build relationships, drive results, and lead change
