Position Summary:
Drive value creation by engineering optimized Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes that seamlessly integrate into the global Rolls-Royce Maintenance and Overhaul network. Focus on advancing product lifecycle improvements and enhancing capabilities for reusing and remanufacturing components and engines.
Design and implement innovative engineering solutions that align with Rolls-Royce’s business objectives and deliver sustainable lifecycle cost benefits.

Design and implement innovative engineering solutions that align with Rolls-Royce’s business objectives and deliver sustainable lifecycle cost benefits.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in analyzing product designs for the best method of remanufacture.
- Specify tools, equipment and processes to remanufacture a part or assembly or evaluate processes
- Support the design and building of tools and equipment or recommends improvements to existing processes.
- Develop new tools, equipment and processes.
- Provide technical support to maintenance operations, manufacturing and other functional groups
- Prepare proposals, designs, drawings, specifications and contract documents
- Participate in teams and cross-functional groups.
- Analyze product variations, plan and implement process capability improvements.
- Assist in developing statistically based manufacturing control strategies.
- Develop and implement productivity improvements.
- Evaluate and support implementation new technologies.
- Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct
- Perform special projects as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing or 4 years of engineering experience in the design, manufacture, assembly, or testing of internal combustion engines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges effectively.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Good oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, and materials.
- Effective presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Creo, or similar design and drafting software.
- Proficiency in PC applications and the MS Office Suite, along with knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and techniques for optimizing manufacturing efficiency.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
- Practical experience working with MTU diesel engines.
- Familiarity with ISO/QS-9000 standards and their implementation.
- Proficiency in using SAP for business and operational processes.
- Hands-on experience with Windchill for product lifecycle management.
