Position Overview:

ROMTech is looking for passionate, self-driven Field Specialists to join our growing team. The Field Specialist is the face of the company and may perform a variety of critical roles with ROMTech. The Field Specialist is responsible for delivering the device to the patient's home and ensuring successful set up and training of appropriate use, or other duties as assigned. Traveling from one patient's home to the next will occur on a daily basis and mileage reimbursement will apply. We are looking for candidates that have a strong ability to be self-sufficient and work independently, with a strong sense of urgency and ownership over their work. Candidates should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

The position will operate in a 6-day work week schedule and will require flexibility of schedule. We require all new Field Specialist to travel to HQ in Brookfield CT for their first week for hands-on training.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all pre-op and post-op deliveries are handled within the applicable timeline.
  • Ensures that all PortableConnect devices are assembled and disassembled within the designated location.
  • Ensures that product inventory within designated location is updated each week.
  • Ensures that all PortableConnects are cleaned and physically checked before and after each pick-up.
  • Ensures that all department processes and policies are always followed.
  • Ensure that all orders are documented within company guidelines.
  • Is responsible for ensuring that all devices are picked within 24 to 48 business hours after the treatment plan has ended.
  • Ensures that all broken or defective devices are shipped back to the manufacturing facility.
  • Assists Customer Service in handling patient calls to complete swap-outs and troubleshoot the device.
  • Is responsible for submitting personal expenses each week to ensure quick turnaround times from ROMTech's Finance department.
  • Will work directly with senior management to ensure that department KPIs & goals are being met.
  • Ensuring that patient satisfaction percentages are consistently above 90%.
  • Responsible for escalating patient complaints/issues to upper management.
  • Is responsible for handling weekend/holiday/after hour delivery calls as needed.
  • Ensures that all required paperwork for deliveries and pick-ups is submitted appropriately.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in compliance with DOH and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Shows professionalism in all communications, both written and verbal, with co-workers, staff, patients, and physicians.
  • Troubleshoots and identifies potential issues and resolution; engages others as necessary for follow-through.
  • You may be required to assist with warehousing, administration, scheduling, or remote onboarding responsibilities.
  • This role will require driving long distances/sitting/acts of bending and lifting.

Requirements:

  • Ability to drive up to 75% of the time.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required outside of local territory.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Office 365.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work without supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable source of transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting a plus
  • Flexibility to start quickly.
  • 2 years in a health-related field, a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
