Your Impact:
- Leadership & Innovation: Take command of multiple product lines as a high-level Mechanical Engineer, acting as a pioneer in the field, while providing strategic direction to a team of 15-20 engineers and technicians.
- Strategic Development: Lead new product research and development projects, with a keen focus on optimizing design for manufacturing and processing. Spearhead initiatives from conceptualization to full-scale production, ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and performance specifications.
- Technical Mastery: Utilize your expert knowledge to integrate innovative new features, assess the competition, resolve complex production issues, develop expectations, and ensure adherence to standards across multiple production departments.
- Market Excellence: Drive process refinement and cost reduction efforts. Lead ROI analyses for new tooling and equipment investments that enhance manufacturing capabilities and reduce operational costs.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excel in conveying complex technical concepts to a diverse audience, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and lead discussions to foster a team-oriented environment for continuous product innovation and alignment on development goals.
What You’ll Need:
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to develop innovative solutions to challenging problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to engage effectively with all levels within the organization.
- A strong track record of solving problems and making an organization better.
- An interest in leveraging product management systems.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in the engineering field
- 5 years of management experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, and SolidWorks, and comfortable with a variety of hand and power tools.
