The Church of the Redeemer, Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) Facilities Maintenance Technician.
This position is responsible for ongoing and preventative maintenance on equipment, buildings, and grounds of the Church of Redeemer. This position ensures there is an attractive, productive, and safe work environment for all people, including staff, visitors, and groups that meet in our Church. The Facilities Maintenance Technician manages and performs work necessary to maintain HVAC, security, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, remodeling, painting and special systems including repair of interior fixtures, furnishings, and equipment. This position will focus on maintaining and improving system efficiencies with the result of reducing operational expenses. The qualified candidate shou9ld be a practicing Catholic, have a strong work ethic, take initiative, and possess a broad skill set in maintenance.
