About the Job:
This position will play a crucial role in supporting the spiritual and pastoral mission of the Diocese of Tucson. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the Church and sanctuary for various Liturgical Celebrations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of the Church and sanctuary for Liturgy or Sacraments
- Set up and arrange objects, vessels, and vestments for use during Liturgy
- Welcome and support visiting Priests and ministers during rites
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Sacristy and Altar areas
- Ensure the proper care and security of Liturgical implements and materials
Requirements:
- A strong commitment to the mission of the Diocese and Catholic Church
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of liturgical terms and documents
