GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for assembling and wiring control panels according to electrical prints.
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Math and reading skills required.
- Able to utilize the internal EPR system required.
- Deep understanding of electrical processes preferred.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
None required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assemble and wire control panels, operator stations, junction boxes by following specific blueprints.
- Must have a strong understanding of electrical processes.
- Ability to predetermine any problems that may come up and answer any questions with regard to the prints.
- Assembles or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand & equipment coordination.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality and quantity of work produced.
- Receives components or items for assembly &/or test in programmed sequence.
- Assemble all variations of standard products, as well as complex custom products.
- Follow clear assembly/work/test instructions, e.g. color coding, NEC & UL codes/standards.
- Use simple hand or power tools along with complex jigs & fixtures.
- Enter work hours in ERP system (GSS).
- Drives continuous improvement process & conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
- Understands and has a working knowledge of basic electricity, the workings of electrical devices, and knowledge of basic machine shop practices

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
