Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in financial software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process payroll in a timely manner.
- Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
- Perform tax preparation and filing for the organization.
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to streamline financial processes.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial statements.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain organized financial records for easy access and reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in accounting.
- Proficiency in financial software, particularly QuickBooks, is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and public accounting practices.
- Excellent skills in financial report writing with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards is preferred.
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and preparation processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
