Position Responsibilities of the BIM Coordinator:
- Develop detailed design drawings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software
- Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems
- Draw and detail plans based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data
- Modification of drawings with necessary engineering changes
- Run clash detections and organize reports
Requirements of the BIM Coordinator:
- Experience in Residential & Commercial construction
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
The candidate must have...
- Understanding of how to read Construction Drawings
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work and coordinate multiple projects at once
- Proficient computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good people skills
- Great attitude is a MUST
