Purpose |
The role of the Special Education Teacher is to provide direct special education services to students eligible for services under IDEA and GaDOE. The teacher provides support to students, teachers, and parents and acts as a liaison with community services. The teacher follows all federal, state, and district due process policies and procedures while supporting school administrators and other special educators and related service providers in compliant practices. |
