- PARTS COUNTER SALES
Job Purpose:
- To provide exceptional customer service and sales support at the parts counter, assisting customers with their parts needs, maximizing sales opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of the Ron Marhofer Automall Group parts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Accurately identifies and locates required parts utilizing electronic catalogs and inventory management systems.
- Processes customer transactions efficiently, including cash, credit card, and account sales.
- Maintains a clean and organized parts counter area.
- Assists with stocking and inventory management as needed.
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
- Stays up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Contributes to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience:
- 1 years of Dealership Parts Counter Sales experience
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
