The team at RTA is looking for a Software Trainer Extraordinaire with prior fleet experience. This role is responsible for learning how to use a best in industry fleet management system and in turn teaching others to be super users. This role balances superb facilitation skills, instructional design, problem solving, and technological advancements in creating easy to follow curriculum. As a member of this kick ass company, you will be involved in helping shape teaching agenda, strategy, direction, and engaging with our customers by teaching them best practices both on-site, virtually, and e-learning. This position plays a key part in not only the success of our company, but ultimately in the success of our clients.

  • Having fleet experience is preferred.

Specifically for this job, someone who :

  • Has spent time in the fleet industry and "speaks fleet"
  • Has the ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
  • Job is Hybrid when employee lives in the greater Phoenix Metro Area.
  • Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.
  • Design effective training programs.
  • Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
  • Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos, etc.
  • Write and maintain knowledge base materials.
  • Support and mentor new employees.
  • Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement.

    Total compensation for the role is between $65k and $100k, depending on experience. This is a full-time, remote / hybrid role, with a 50-60% travel expectation.

    Requirements :

    Education and Experience :

  • Experience in fleet management or automotive industry is required.
  • 2 years of experience in software training, instructional design, or related field.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
  • Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in creating e-learning content and instructional materials, such as module summaries, videos, and knowledge base articles.
  • Experience with fleet management software or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude to quickly learn and teach complex software.
  • Proficiency with virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and LMS platforms.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
  • Customer-focused approach with a genuine passion for helping clients succeed.
  • Travel and Work Environment :

  • Role is hybrid when in the Phoenix metro area with 3 days in office and new hires are unable to work from home in their first 60 days
  • Role is fully remote when employee does not live in the greater Phoenix metro area though would require travel to the Glendale office a couple times a year for events
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time for on-site training sessions.
  • Comfortable working in a remote / hybrid environment.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones when necessary.
  • Salary : $65,000 - $100,000
